Summer is the time of year when most Australian’s are enjoying a game of sport. Whether it be watching a game
of tennis or playing a round of lawn bowls, either way the sporting venues are receiving an increased amount in foot traffic.
Summer is also the time of year when we receive some of our most volatile weather with blazing hot sun one day and torrential rain the next. With the increased foot traffic and weather conditions, it can sometimes result in the line marking on the sports fields to fade quicker than usual.
Some ways to prevent faded line marking include:
- Regular inspections of the venue
- Use of high quality line marking paint (such as a Supaturf product)
- Use of correct and accurate line marking equipment (such as our range of Supaturf equipment)
- Instilling a re-application schedule with the groundsman on high traffic areas
